All are welcome at our meetups, from newbies to seasoned HODLers. All we ask is that you are eager to learn about Bitcoin and be open to helping build the new economy. If you are skeptical but have an open mind, please join us.

We started in 2024 to help educate the local area about Bitcoin. We do not focus on other cryptocurrencies; to each their own, but this group is for discussing Bitcoin and Bitcoin projects. We avoid talk about altcoins, but with exciting new technologies evolving around Bitcoin, like Lightning, eCash, and Nostr, there is ALWAYS something new to learn.

We believe that the trajectory of the US dollar, and indeed all debt-based fiat monetary systems, is unsustainable. We understand that money as a means of exchange and store of value is fundamental to human society, so an alternative to the current system is desperately needed. We believe Bitcoin is the best form of money ever known to man.

As a group, we are not political. We do not adhere to any theological dogma. We do not care for race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or any other divisive categories. We care about self-sovereignty, autonomy, and equality under mathematical law. Our ethos is that of the cypherpunk. We are non-violent, but our actions are revolutionary.
